Yesterday was really odd, bright sunshine one minute and then so dark and threatening I had to put the lights on the next. It was all talk and no action though as there's still been no rain.

Cooler and cloudy this morning with a fresh breeze  I wouldn't mind a few more days like this.

Overcast and muggy, we had 5 minutes of rain and that's it.

Yesterday turned into headache weather around mid-morning , I think plot 1 problems must have pinched all the rain as we didn't get any here This morning has started much the same, cool grey and but still, I spoke too early yesterday  hopefully it will be fresher today.

Sky Weather have clearly read this, they've changed the forcast for tomorrow night to rain

still not a drop of the wet stuff here.  Watering the greenhouse twice a day and the  patio p ots once.  Hay fever not letting up either.  There's one green spot on the lawn where Paul stands each evening and has a shower under the hose!

Fresher this morning, bit of a breeze, sunny but not hot - pottering weather.  If the rain they have forecast for late this afternoon shows up it will make for a nice day.

I got up early to go for my morning 3000-4000 steps, so going for a walk before it rains,guess what i got up to late its raining oh boy do we need the rain,oh well i will just have to do steps inside this morning.

Overcast, light rain, 14º - the typical Welsh summer we know and love

I was hoping we'd get more rain than we are - the soil is so dry. All the last rain did for the fields was make the grass throw up flower stalks which aren't very nutritious for the animals.

Very gentle rain here as well.
Yesterday there were some horrible black clouds that just passed over - today we have very light grey cloud cover and rain! Weird - could do with rain all day, if we don't actually get a decent storm soon, as there are some later in the forecast.

According to the forecast we've got heavy rain.. well it's a bit damp and so far today we've had 5 mm. And Welsh Water has sent out the 'use less water' letters so even Wales is feeling the pinch. From what I gather this drought is all across Northern Europe.

Looks like John finally let some over the Beacons    we have rain ! Proper British, soak everything , wet smelling , water butt filling rain. I may well be soaking wet and rather chilly from standing in it but frankly I really don't care !

Our gentle rain finally stopped about 30 minutes ago. Not nearly enough but a good start...
