Word table gone wonky.
« on: September 28, 2018, 15:19 »
I created a Word table for some simple databases and it worked really well - so far! I created another one to add some selected info by copying certain rows and pasting them via the "paste by appending table" option. All went well until I suddenly noticed that sometimes this option wasn't available. I carried on as before and some rows were ok, but the others were more spaced-out and most of the last column was off the page in print view. Anyone got any ideas as to how to sort it out?
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

No panic.  Select the entire table (using the little symbol top left).  Then either a)right click on it to get the menu, and find table properties most of the way to the bottom.  Or B) use table tools, layout from your tools bar - it will have popped up when you selected the table.  Now set up your table how you want it, including internal margins and it will all come right.
