My OH wants some Shallots specifically to pickle.  Any recommendations as to a good pickling variety?

Have found a couple of seed firms mention within their variety descriptions that Picasso are particularly suited to pickling.  May give a few metres to both and she can then decide which she prefers for subsequent planting.
