Garden Vacuum
« on: November 12, 2007, 17:38 »
Hi,
There is a large oak tree yards from me and I need a vacuum with shredder capability.   Can anyone recommend a good one to buy and advise a good place to purchase from.   Electric would be fine.

hi,
I've never been a big fan of those electric vacs.
I have always found a small petrol blower to be a much quicker/ more usefull tool.
just blow it all into one area and pick the leaves up with a couple of boards. you can stick 'em in plastic bags to rot down to leaf mould.

ive got a jcb petrol blower and vac, it chops up leafs great.

it was only cheap as one of the focus diy places are closing down!

may be worth calling them and finding out if theres one near you thats closing as everything is over 60% off now
