Lambs liver, onions, mustard mash and mixed veg. So good I could eat it all again, but with a nice savoy cabbage instead of mixed veg  :tongue2:  :tongue2:

I've switched to the winter menu this week too - beef stew tomorrow.

Very nice slow roast beef with home grown veg,peas, leeks, and runner beans,roast potatoes,and of corse yorkshire pud,and home made gravy.
Best sort of tea when the weather is nasty outside.

Just got in .... potato cakes on the griddle.  Fried eggs and baked beans to go with.  Pheew.

Chicken and cabbage (last of the summer cabbages) casserole, with a wholemeal round to mope up the juices. rice for the juices!

Left over pork cooked with beans and squash and apple and onion, with a little chilli ...  wholemeal scone round to mop up the juices.  Worked fine.
