hens gone off lay

high my hens have been laying eggs fine till a few days ago 16 hens laying between 10-14 eggs a day down to zero, they are well fed and have plenty of fresh water, can any one please explain why they have gone of lay . they are ex battery hens coming up to there third year
if at first you don't suckseed try again

Who knows. Could be drop in temperature, some sort of shock/fright. Strange for all 16 to succumb though :)

if they are free ranging they could be "laying away"  do a search of any clumpy plants. They do like to lay eggs there, eg in things like pampas grass. My mate once had this problem. Did a recce and found 30 eggs!   :D

That many eggs?  Look for egg predation...rats, snakes, squirrels, ravens, etc.  Sounds like something is eating your eggs.
