I was on holiday camping a couple of years ago and heard a really loud buzzing.  A swarm passed right by our tent and I was sitting outside at the time.  I was too interested to be concerned and my clever OH informed me that it was a swarm of bees.  Must admit that I didn't think about getting away from them as I thought it was really cool having never seen it before (or since).

What if the swarm decides that your armpit is a good place to nest? They don't seem too fussy (walls, gates, sheds) and suddenly a few stings doesn't seem so bad anymore.
