No, we hav'nt got one of those. It looks as if it's been made very well but I'm sure a fox  could easily knock it over if it was'nt firmly secured. It also does'nt look very big. What birds where you thinking of putting in there?

Does anyone have this coop, I'm considering getting it, and making a run for it myself....

I got one thinking it would be fine for 4 chooks, i was wrong...

its ok for when they are roosting overnight, cramped, but they all like to huddle up together in 1 corner,
but I would not leave them together in its run all day, a separate run or free range is most definitley required

I have nigh on the same as this but when it arrived ( Flat Packed ) the roof was damaged, so they sent me a new roof. Best thing about it was that I repaired the 1st roof and extended the size of the run, so its now double the length.

Thanks all, I definitely would be building a bigger run, probably a run that would enclose the coop itself, I'm feeling in the mood for a spot of DIY, lol!

In that case for the money could you go for a better larger henhouse and then attach a run? I like the henhouses advertised in this sticky

I would avoid any house that has a felt roof as the mites just love them!
The house pictured appears to be very small... and if the same quality as others I've seen like it... you will be buying another next year!

Interesting advise on the felt roof, lots of sheds have them.  Whats your suggested covering rather than felt?

A well made timber roof (not ply) will last longer than felt. Basic points to remember are:
A good pitch to ensure rain run off.
Overlapping timber planking to prevent leaks when roof expands/contracts in the heat.
Minimum of nail or screw holes in the roof - if possible fix from inside.
Reasonable overhang to prevent water running down sides of coop.

Regards
Kev
