does any kind person know where i can get a 15" fire grate for my chimmanea, they are actually in two half moon parts :)

Try wyvale garden centres if you have one near by I saw something like that today in there.

After you posted somewhere else I went back to work and looked through my suppliers and couldn't find anything.  They only sold the whole thing or nothing at all.  Perhaps they are so new that spare parts aren't around yet (sorry to put a downer on).

We have been looking for the grate inside for months and although I have asked at all our DIY and gardening centres no one ever calls back with news that I want. :roll:

There's a place in Mansfield called Trent Castings. They make spares for fires, stoves etc. They may be able to help.

As a temporay measure (or longer if you don't mind keep replacing em) use something like the top gridle part off a disposable barbeque. Cut and bend to shape etc, put two inside to double the strength. They'll burn thru over time but it should work fine.
