Title: Curious problem re- email and adding a contact.

My OH was expecting an email the other day but it never arrived even after several phone calls. The next day he was told it had been sent three times. My junk folder was empty (it always is anyway) and it wasn't in any of the other main folders. I got his email address and tried to send a message so they could reply to it but it wouldn't go and I kept getting my contacts window showing- er? I tried adding the email address to my contacts list but it said it was an invalid address even though I double-checked it with the chap. Anyone got any ideas? I use Windows 10 with Windows Live Mail and have never encountered this before.

Try setting up another email address with some one else ie  firefox, don't  put it all with microsoft,
when i get an email it ask's if i want to add to contacts,,,

Windows Live Email **Shudders**

As suggested, try using another email account to see if it works correctly.  I personally recommend GMX.com for reasons too many to list here, but it's served me well for 9 years now.

Ain't life strange. I copied and pasted the same email address from his website and this time it went! I also managed to add him to my contacts list!! Why his didn't get to me I don't know.

For better or worse, Madame La Goose, I use Gmail since my MS Outlook inbox filled up and froze forever...

Took me ages to try and get them out, and another blogger helped as he is a specialist, but never again! They were all business emails, and Microsoft are cagey about many issues with email.

Gmail only now for Growsters, and I don't care if they find out about Mrs Nosepoultice from Number 37, or Doris from Number eight either! It's all lies anyway!

Lies I tell you...
