Hi,

Im really new to this, have loads of potatoes,can anyone one tell me how i can freeze them or any good recipes that includes potatoes.

Are they all new spuds? If so and you want to store you can clamp them, I do this every year and there are normaly ok until around feb. Thats if they last that long,

Ideal storage for potatoes are 35-40degF, medium moist humidity, low air circulation and they'll store that way for up to 6 months.  Allow the skins to toughen up in moist 70degF air in a non-windy place (not in the sun) for 2 wks.  Keep out sunlight/air (in sand?) to prevent greening/sprouting.

Otherwise, I wonder if potato soup will freeze?

Chip them, part fry and cool, then freeze.

Mash, cool and freeze.

You could always make a vat full of mashed potato,then freeze it and sell it to Delia Smith. :lol:

That seems to be her favourite thing at the moment. :wink:
