Hi all want to grow potatoes in bucket on patio.
Where do i get the potatoes from?
Does the bucket need drainage?
Do i use compost/manure?

1. Have a look online for spuds T&M, etc are stocking spuds ready to harvest at Christmas time
2. Yes the bucket needs drainage
3. A mix of compost and manure will be good - if not then bung some chicken pellets on every time you earth up

Thanks for your reply. Is there any other veggies i can grow now that will ready in December? My brothers coming home from Oz first family get together in years would love my fresh veggies on the table for Christmas with the turkey!

sorry to butt in but if I wanted to plant potatoes in the greenhouse for Christmas - when should I be planting them? About august?

Stab some holes in the botton of the bucket for Drainage, I just use compost with some Fish blood and bone mixed in.
