Ive just recieved my 'Chelsea Celebration pack' which is brill, would deffinetley recomend, but anyway it contains two £5 vouchers for thompson and morgan. So I was having a look tpo see if i could buy autumn planting garlic, i could but is it too early to start even thinking about that?
If you want to be happy for a short time - get drunk.

If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!

Yes way too early I plant my garlic in November/December time.  I normally don't get it until the week before.  Now I know this is a silly question but i thought all garlic needed to overwinter to split?
Time waits for no man and I can't wait for growth.

I think the clue is in the name!  Autumn planting garlic  :D

But if you want to be super organised and order early then go for it.  The seed companies usually only send out at a reasonably appropriate time anyway.

The 50% sale is still on, £10's worth of vouchers would by you a few packets of exotic seed.

It's never too early to think about planting!

If you look on line at T & M autumn garlic, they say it will be dispatched October/November, so absolutely no reason why it can't be ordered now.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Or what about some strawbs ?

http://www.thompson-morgan.com/fruit1/product/cww3316/1.html

I think I remember DD saying these were really good and they're exclusive to T&M.

... I could spend your vouchers several times over   ::)  :D

I planted my garlic in March dunno if right or wrong but will just harvest them when yellow. Thought I had better say something about garlic so I could lead into my main point LOL

I got those strawbs (irresistable) after DD's recommend and they are fruiting beautifully right now, look quite different to my Elsanta, they are bigger and holding the strawbs more upright on stronger stems, the taste test is imminent.
