my soft sandwich loaf has a high oil content (to make it soft) so my bread never sticks in the tin. I only mix the dough at weekends when I have time to do the rest, otherwise it just goes on overnight.

Do you all bake the loaves in the bread maker? I found I stopped baking in ours as I couldn't get it out of the tin, so just mixed & proved it then gave it a quick knead & in to a tin etc for a 2nd prove before baking in the oven, so in the end I got rid of it & as I wanted a new mixer bought a Kenwood chef.

Brian doesn't like the hole in the middle where the paddle is, so I just use my BM to make the dough as my hands can't knead very well, then I bake in the oven.  I tried doing it with my Kenwood Chef, but it just seems to go round and round and stays attached to the dough hook!   Perhaps I was doing something wrong!

Mine does that a bit to start with, I just leave it a bit longer.

If you use the correct recipe and ingredients it should not really stick. Can't say I ever have sticking problems.
To beat the hole, we just cut the middle section out and use any broken bits for breadcrumbs to go in the freezer and the top part for toast or a smaller slice, no hassle.

My Morphy Richards did come with a 5 year guarantee and if you register online they send you vouchers to buy parts or extra measuring equipment.
The parts are here and are pretty cheap, but not so far had any need to buy any;

The best accessory I found though for breadmaking which impresses everyone is a baguette tray, which we got at Christmas, our first attempt pics back in last December below, but used every week since.

Few more things on using bread machines.
I always supplement the butter or fat in recipes with olive oil, much easier and healthier. Also always use water rather than milk.

A really good series of books and well worth it for those starting out or those more experienced,
are the Bread machine magic series by Linda Rehberg and Lois Conway.
I've just got their more recent ebook from my local library online called 'More bread machine magic'.
Great tips and they show the recipes in three loaf sizes.
I did the pizza loaf today , that uses some homemade tomato sauce. It was delicious and really bought out the tomatoes and the smell was amazing.
Its quite an adaptable recipe and as well as the homemade tomato sauce I added spinach, mushroom, bacon, edam cheese, fresh basil and oregano, chilli mustard and a half/half mix of brown and white bread flour.

I've really only just started to make bread, I have a Panasonic but I only use it for making the dough.

Rolls tonight.

See lidl have a breadmaker on offer at the moment for £39.99 in their Silvercrest range, which I have gadgets from and have always been excellent quality.
It has two dough paddles, not seen that before.
Would be a good starter breadmaker for anyone.
Nice video of it in action and the manual;
