After my soaking yesterday, today I went to a special coffee morning, which was most pleasant. Library, post office, and then to Church for our monthly light lunch, followed by games, tea and cake. Some of us are learning to play Rummicubs. We have one person who is very good at it. Its slow, but I shall get there in the end.
Came home and the Estate Agent rang to say the house sale is back on again, with a shorter chain, yippee.
Cut the grass, washed the bird poo of my car. Now I am tired, so I shall go and read the paper and do crossword.
So there, some black days can turn into much better ones. So I am a happy bunny today.

couldn't agree more Mrs B we had a lovely day outdoors potting up plants moving plants from the greenhouse outside it was nice to have our cup of tea sitting outside watching the spring lambs playing in the field across the road from us and I even had my boots on instead of wellingtons :D

I love Rummikub, is it word or number you are playing?

The one I am playing is numbers, I didn't know there was a words version as well. (Sometimes though, I have to think about MY WORDS very carefully - I am in the Church !!)
I am ok ish, until the clever lady says, split that line, put your number ... in there and move those along.
Oh yes, OK then. What is she talking about, then she said, well done you're out.
Don't ask me how, I don't know. :D :D :D But It is good fun and does make you concentrate and think.

same thing with letters and quicker than scrabble.
Used to play a german maths scrabble as a child.

I shall have to find out about that.
I would also like to play Mahjong. I played it many years ago and thought it was so interesting.
I looked in our area for somewhere to learn, but they are all Chinese people - have you ever seen the speed at which they play it, and of course, I don't speak Chinese :lol: :lol: Mrs Bouquet
