I have cauliflower seeds growing in single pots in greenhouse do they need to be protected when big enough to put on allotment if so which polytunnel would be suitable and which lenght would I need

Don't molly coddle caulis. They hate warmth.

Other than really harsh winters, they're fine outside and they won't have any bugs on them.

In fact I'd get those out of the greenhouse now before you end up with weak plants.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

my advice would be to enviromesh the, ours were decimated by caterpillars, they didn't eat the curds though jsut the leaves which means we didn't have much to fold over curds to protect them so some discoloured

i set autumn giant on the Lottie when should they be ready to pick they have good leaf growth also i am going to try all year round cauliflower next season  is this a good choice or should i go for a fi variety? RW
