well thats the question!

has anyone got any ideas what can i grow potatoes in thats low in cost?

would cut flower buckets be ok for smaller kinds?

i will have a look to see what i can find

im just looking for a way to grow as many as i can next year! unless i take on a allotment plot over winter i will be showt on growing room next year for what i want to grow / try etc, but i have plenty of standing space for tub type containers along the hedgs

i was thinking of trying to get some big barrels and cut them in half, what you think?

any ideas how many tubers id get in there?

i was thinking about car garages, i will have to have a mesure up first to see if they are to fat to go along where i would like them to go, dont want a yard full and no where to put them :oops:

a freind of mine knows a farmer well so will have a word with him :D

i use em fer toms as awell ,have some real crackers this last month ,white ones from the road werkers ,, with lids  :wink:

I got 12 big pots of this chap who was planting trees he was going to slat them in the skip,there are big as a large trugg thingy but solid with handles
feed the soil not the plants

think i will stay clear of the tyres rich but thanks for the idea, it would be hard for me to get rid of them if i didnt want them at any point

i will have a look at some of my supplyers for post shaun, i will also tru and get hold of the guys i used to work with on the trees! i know that when i was doing it with them none of our stuff come in pots but that was because it was all uk undercut stock fresh from the ground not imported
