Very helpful video mum, just put some spud leaves in a bag overnight as per vid, the morning will tell if I have late blight, I suspect it's early though...if it is and I chop the tops off do I still need to leave them in the ground for a couple of weeks?  An earlier posting said the tubers aren't affected by early blight.  Advice appreciated muchly!
