My original male quail died this morning.

No injuries just probably his time to go.

He was ok at 7am but i've just found him, still warm but gone.

We lost one of the orignal females a couple of months ago so wondered how long it would be for the other older ones.
Typically, his feathers had just regrew from molting too. he had spent a few months looking a bit sparse.

Sorry to here about your loss Splash101. It sounds as though he went very quickly but also without suffering which is a blessing.

How old was he?

:(  So sorry splash.  If he had been in the wild his life would have been much shorter and not so many ladies for him.
