Just thinking ahead, I have a polytunnel for this year and wondered if you still need to harden off stuff started in a tunnel?

Will leaving the door open on sunny days be enough?

Hi wiz i have a pt and leave the door open but i dont think thats enough,i put my plants for hardening off in the cold frame with lid open during the day closed at night for a week or so .Darren

Hardening off really means giving plants enough stamina to be able to withstand being outside all the time, so any protection needs to be gradually removed, including being in a cold frame.
