Title: Hi from Surrey
Post by: meriad on August 09, 2017, 12:32
I've just taken on a 1/2 plot which currently is quite overgrown but I'm hugely excited about getting going.  Lots of clearing to be done before I can do much with it and thinking of planting green manure to start and then come the spring it'll be all systems go.

Looking forward to meeting people and getting lots of advice

Hello
You will find lots of info, advice and experience on this forum.
Also there are still loads of things you can be sowing or planting this time of year so that you get a good start to 2018.  Japanese onions, Garlic, over wintering lettuces, radishes, to name a few.  Local garden centres will be selling what can go in now to save time.
Have fun.
