The Flying Shed

Put simply I let my creative side run wild. It really did fly for two days until the balloons lost too much helium to support it. It's made of balsa wood, balloons, cotton (so i could hang onto it) and araldite. The plant inside it is mint. If you can make it out i'm actually holding this down with my trowel and thats the only reason it's not rapidly unwinding the cotton.

I'm so glad we've got two votes, I could have done with three or more...so very hard to choose as ever..I've decided  to narrow my vote down to the innovative home made ones...I still can't choose.. ::)

Congrats to the winners

(and thanks to the 3 of you who voted for my car boot  :D )
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

You're welcome, it tickled my fancy ... but I'm blonde and we're easily pleased, so don't feel to special ;)

Congrats to the winners, I like all of your sheds .... only voted for one of you though, I wasted my other vote on a car boot  .... if you're the paranoid type, pretend you're the one I voted for

Well that was the most amazing competition we've had - inventive, creative and in some cases surreal :)

Congratulations to the winners and massive thanks to everyone who entered.

Just to remind everyone the recipe competition is still open.

Thanks again

Thanks a lot to all who looked at my shed photo.. I couldn`t believe my eyes when I found out I had won, and I am always amazed at others ingenuity (hope the spelling isn`t too far out....only had two cups of tea this morning). Now going to treat myself to another cuppa to celebrate........quick though as the rain might just come on yet again. I hear that other parts of the UK are having a heat wave!
