« on: June 02, 2013, 04:53 »
In my small polytunnel ive got deep raised beds- if I grow tomatoes/chillis/peppers down one side in one bed and have a few cabbages/spring onions/lettuce/cucumbers and carrots growing in the other one next year would I need to alternate beds??

You don't have to, you could move specific crops around, if that suits you better........lettuce where the cabbage was, onions where the tomatoes were - that kind of thing.

Many people grow their tomatoes in the same beds every year - just perhaps changing a bucketful of compost
from where the tomato roots were, every year, might be a good idea.
