Title: Two Mantis compost tumblers on eBay.
Post by: cc on August 13, 2017, 10:09
I would have them both but Lincolnshire is a long way from London and I doubt I could fetch them on my push bike!
£29.99 BUT in London. Auction 5 days left. Seller has 2 auctions. No bids on either.

Try getting a delivery quote from Shiply (google it) - I've used them and they were very good. Often drivers are heading home empty and it lets them make a few pounds.

Know what, I had one and didn't like it much at all .   Maybe I wasn't producing enough of a mix of the right stuff, but regardless of how much turning I was doing I still always ended up with a heavy and wet sludgy mess and every time I turned the barrel I heard water slushing about somewhere. I tried cleaning the bottom grill to see if that's where the problem was but never did quite figure it out.

I eventually donated the composter to my nephews school - it's a special needs school with a horticultural section and they were happy to take it off me.

I've only just taken on an allotment and am going to use the good old fashioned wooden square one for that - they work
