Hi everyone,

I run a small brewery in Thurrock in Essex, If anyone is interested in taking our spent grain, we would appreciate it. We have a local allotment holder who takes it normally but he had an accident recently so has been unable to collect. Apparently the grains are good for there moisture retaining properties and also make good compost. If anyone is interested in taking some please feel free to message me on the following email address: deverellsbrewery@hotmail.co.uk i currently have around 20-30 25kg bags outside the brewery and normally use around 6-10 bags a week. Im offering them free of charge, first come first served. Feel free to take as much or as little as you like.
