Hi, we have 3 ducks, laying 1 egg each per day.
I have just read on here about worming chickens, can anyone tell me please should I be worming my ducks also ? what are the signs of worms ?

Yes you can worm ducks with flubenvet just the same as chickens.

Symptoms of worms can include:-

They may become under weight - all the goodness of their food is going to feed the worms  >:(.
Coughing - gapeworms
Shaking of the head - again gapeworm.
Drop in egg production - being seasonal you may not notice this though  :(
Worms seen in the droppings these are often roundworms.
Blood in faeces / around vent however this could also be coccidiosis so you would need to check for this too.


To be sure use Flubenvet regularly - prevention is better than cure  :)
However please don't wait until you see the symptoms - worm them every 3 or 4 months  :)
Staffies are softer than you think.
