does anyone know of a cheap place to get about 17m of 1200x13 chicken wire?

Do you have an agricltural supply store in your area?
We've got one about 15miles away it sells that kind of thing cheap.

If the 1200 dimension is the height thats the one that is usually extra dear! (I work in an agricultural supplier). You normally only get short lengths i.e. 10 - 20 metres in the low i.e. 500 stuff.  Can you get hold of a part used roll from somewhere, freecycle etc?

The chicken people always warn that chicken wore is not fox proof, and you need some other stuff which you'll have to ask them about
