Hi from the Isle of Ely, Cambs---
« on: July 17, 2017, 22:30 »
Hello!

I've started a new gardening diary on another sub thread

http://chat.allotment-garden.org/index.php?topic=126241.0

Can you please tell me if you can see the images or not? Not sure if my google account grants access to the html image links

Thank you!

Yoir pictures remind me of the plot I inherited just over a month ago and like myself you have found some nice surprises. I love your vision of what you intend to do in the future, especially the camomile lawn, a lovely historical idea. I found a shed with loads of mouldy clothes in and early one morning I found the gentleman who they belonged to sleeping in the shed. I was lucky his personal habits were merely lack of hygiene and not of a chemical nature. Your plot looks like a challenge at the moment but it will be so rewarding breaking your back and fighting weeds and getting stung and the smell of the incinerator and stinging eyes from the smoke.....it is great. There is no doubt that it is good for the mind and it definitely helps physical strength too. This forum is also brilliant in that the members are happy to share their extensive knowledge so generously. Good luck with your project.

I love your description there, Pitufo .. so, so true as well 😅😅  Somehow, however hard I try, nettle seem to lurk, and spring out to sting me almost daily!!
