Saw this idea for watering plants while you're away on Holiday. It seems to work well in the South of France

Interesting concept, not seen this before.


The two methods I use on the plot is
1. The neighbour, normally a very reliable method.
2. Irrigation system connected to my water supply at home (plot is directly behind the house  )

Might have a go at making one of those and see how well it works.

I have seen Ollas recommended before, but working with what I already had, and bits that were cheap to buy, I ended up with pipe and drippers fed from a raised waterbut

Looks interesting but I would struggle to bury the pots as our top soil is quite shallow really.

Looks interesting but I would need too many for it to be cost efficient.  Just ask a plot neighbour or a family friend.

We have a lady who comes and feeds the cats and stays with them a while daily when we are away and she waters for us for nothing extra.
Luckily she is a good gardener herself, so well aware of how to do it well.

A neighbour or friend would be the best bet, but instruct them well on your preferred regime.
