I got switched in 2022 when my supplier failed. It was quite seamless, apart from the delay in credit transfer from old to new account.
I was just cross that it meant I was back with the company I'd left earlier that same year  >:(

Chatting on the Plot / Am annoyed with Shell energy changes.
« Last post by Goosegirl on Today at 09:28 »
I have used Shell energy since we moved here and they've been fine; however, I recently received an email from Octopus energy but deleted it as I thought it was a scam. Apparently they've taken over Shell energy customers and I've had no notification of this. Cue panic! Just been on Octopus website and had to set up my account which I did, then found my energy usage part and been told I was recommended to reduce my monthly payments by quite a lot as I am in credit but I didn't think I was that much to warrant it. Anyone else had this experience?

General Gardening / Re: Lawn treatment

Jezza, I've always  been taught that you only scarify the lawn in autumn so the grass tillers then start to spread sideways as they should but, if it works for you, then that's fine. I do agree with the rest especially raking out the dead moss and aerating the lawn to help with drainage. If it's in the shade, that can be a continuing problem. Not sure what the white flowering stuff is though.

Yes I’m getting those now & a great big full page advert when I tap reply or on a thread to open, it’s putting me off coming on!
Me too!  Most annoying.

You need an 'ad blocker' on your phone Jezza..
Which is why this site will either be gone or be behind a paywall in 2 years.

HM Moussaka with a side salad  :)
Leftovers today  ::)

Can you share your recipe lol

This is about right, but I use dried Oregano rather than the mint they use, and I don't add any water to the tomato mix, it needs to be a thick sauce, not runny.

Thank you
