[Baldy]

Has been a resounding success. I hoped to make it quite dry and was a bit worried that the general consensus seemed to be to do it as a sweet wine. Anyhow - took a couple of glasses last night and it was excellent. Dry, a little like a pinot noir but with this gentle hint of banana at the end of the mouthful. Splendid.

Yep - I managed to resist drinking it to early... well 5 months in the demijohn (should have been 6 really but hey)

All 6 bottles now despatched

Friend of mine got a bottle as thanks for getting me a petrol mower for £10... - as an 'experienced drinker' he reckoned it was about 15% - I used champagne yeast. I really wasn't expecting much from it - I mean, bananas - wine - anyhow will be doing it again.
