Your chicken has an upper respiratory infection which is probably Coryza which usually has a distinctive odour.  If she doesn't have this then there are several other upper respiratory diseases which cause swollen sinuses which is what this bird has.  Mycoplasmosis (sometimes called MG) is often the most common culprit and is usually a precursor to more serious respiratory conditions.  See "My Chicken has a cold"  http://www.shagbarkbantams.com/page22.htm.

Actually chickens don't have the common cold and respiratory infections shouldn't be taken lightly.  Antibiotics will be effective though recurances can happen in times of stress.
