Young blackbird wandered into the run ( which was open ) birds went back in and attacked it. It is still alive, a bit of skin near the throat ripped off but no blood. It is now sheltering in thorny undergrowth so will hopefully make the night. Happy for me to rescue it, but obviously doesn't want me near it now. Fingers crossed it makes it through to tomorrow.
