RSPCA have them, looks like warrens and mostly hen chicks from the piccys.
Come from local breeder so fully traceable.

Does seem very odd, as well as cruel. They bought the chicks then dumped them :wacko:
Luckily the majority survived the ordeal, but why not just take them back if you had changed your mind ???

You are not supposed to take back poultry you have sold as you will have to cull or keep quarantined away from your livestock.
The seller has taken them back.

I heard the interview with the RSPCA Inspector; I think the chicks were placed back with the seller as it was difficult to place that many chicks elsewhere at such short notice.
