Just found a nice recipe for Tagine of Lamb, it says to use argan oil, so I googled it, and it said to use it on my face etc etc, best beauty product in the world, etc etc.
Do you think it will be ok to use regular vegetable oil (not on my face !) to make this dish.  regards, Mrs Bouquet

I've just googled it and found a site that recommends hazelnut oil as a sub. 

In a tagine recipe,  where you are adding lots of spice anyway, I would go with vegetable oil

Sesame oil also works if you already have it in your cupboard.
