Toadstools on the woodchip paths
« on: September 17, 2013, 06:59 »
In addition to the rampant weed growth following the rain over the last week or so, I suddenly I have lots of toadstools on the woodchip paths and on the pile of woodchip I have stacked at the end of the plot ready for the remaining area to be dug over. Can I add these to the compost heap of should I dispose of them?

Opps just noticed I posted in the wrong area ..... Sorry Mods

(Moved it for you cadalot)

Yes, it is fine to compost heap. I get all sorts appear on my woodchip paths and have come to no harm with them either getting composted or just allowing them to live their little lives and melt away..... if you see what I mean  :D
