I always pre-soak my sweet peas overnight before sowing as these seeds have a very hard seed case, this seems to help in quickening germination.

It's cold as Wild one said, it depends on temperature how long they are going to take. :)

Approx germination time is about 14 days but this can obviously take longer in colder temperatures

You can speed things up by nicking or chipping the seed with a knife as they've got a hard coating. You can also pre germinate the seed by sowing on a tray of damp kitchen paper and covering with cling film, they should come through in a few days.

if theyre in an unheated green house then 2-3 weeks if you have kept them to wet they may have rotted off have a dig in one and see if theyre sprouting or gone all mushy
Everyone should grow their own veg and know where their food is coming from even if it is only a one pot on a patio or balcony Grow Something!!

mine were in unheated greenhouse for 3 weeks with no germination so i brought them indoors and they germinated in 4 days so it was obviously just to cold in the greenhouse still.
