First jam of the year!

And it's a corker!

Strawberry, Raspberry and Blackcurrant with just a smattering of redcurrants, all grown on the plot.

A cheeky little number.  :)

Of course, I went out and bought waaaay too much sugar, so I need to make something else. Can someone remind me (I'm at work) is there a recipe for rhubarb in Val's book? I feel like making another batch tonight.  ::)

There's also one in the book - Page 50 - for Rhubarb & Orange Jam - you'll need a couple of thin skinned oranges and a lemon as well as the rhubarb and sugar. The kids may prefer this one.  :D :D :D.

haha that's the spirit, I find they often don't appreciate the effort and will eat pretty much any jam put in front of them so you may as well please yourself  :D
