I have planted some onions at home in a really sunny area and they have shot up really quick. The growth is about 10 inchs and very bendy, do you think they have grown too quick and will therefore not survive. I am trying to support them but some of the leaves are breaking as they bend.

mine have also been like that for two weeks but are surviving an old hand told me if the bulb is to compacted  in the soil it will use all its energy to go upwards so just keep the soil loose and hoed if mine come out small its pickling time good luck
