Hi I am going to sow some seeds in Richy's Paper Pots.
When planting out do I bury the paper pot below the soil level or do I leave some paper above the soil?
Or does it just not matter?

I am guessing that if I leave some paper above the soil it will prove a bit of a barrier from the slugs snails etc, what do you all think.

I've not tried it myself but I'd say the paper wants to be underground so it will decompose properly. If you left some sticking out there is a chance of it just going dry and tough.

Hiya - bit of a newbie at all this so feel free to disagree    but I think that if you have the papaer sticking out of the ground then when you water it, the paper will act like a wick and dry out the plant.  I'd bury the whole thing.

I think by the time you plant them out the paper will have nearly surrendered anyway      The roots also findit very easyto get through the paper  :!:
