Picture Update - Look at what I've harvested!

:D http://www.stargazy.org/plants/allotment/2006-06-14/
I'm happy even if the slugs are eating a lot of my taters.
My cauliflowers are HUGE (sorry john).
My kale seedlings are looking like kale and when I get back from hols I'll space them out properly where the early potatoes were.
My herbs are doing very well. Pretty flowers on the feverfew, nearly ready to open flowers on the dyer's chamomile, the oregano is absolutely HUGE, the borage is huge and nearly flowering (I'll admit I'm sad that I might miss out on their pretty blue flowers).
My beans are doing okay although my italian purple climbing beans aren't doing so well for whatever reason.
Chard is looking pretty.
I have a dill seedling, safely tucked away under a plastic bottle cloche away from the mean old slugs.
I have fresh potatoes to eat tomorrow or take to the cottage
I have fresh shallots to eat tomorrow to take to the cottage
I have millions of strawberries! I'll miss a few in my week away but my plant-carer will get those as his reward for looking after the plants  8)
Nearly need an emergency jam making session for all my strawberries!
wistfully hoping to one day be mostly organic gardener in North London.

I had quite a few strawberries - something enjoyed them very much!

Seriously, I'm green with envy!

Well fancy having all those strawberries already! They have been eating weeds (Fat Hen - its like spinach. Apparently its very nice ... shudder ... cats prefer chicken and stuff)  from the plot with spring onions which overwintered and rhubard every night so far.  Nothing else is ready! Your plot is either very sheltered or some magic is worked.  Have a nice weekend!
Keep the plot cultivated, that's the best way to ensure its future.

Looks very good to me Heather - although I'm pretty jealous about your cauliflowers :)

I've got some photos to put up on the NVS site (our local association) from the open evening at the chair's house - boy can that guy grow!
