no it isn't some weird NPK ratio but the ratio of snails:slugs:humans in my garden. I hate snails but there are a few less of them now

A friend of mine swears by eating them - says they're fine so long as you purge them for a day or two first.  I've never tried myself, but I imagine they must be something like dog whelks in texture... I'll have to ask him.  :)

lost three lettuces and several french beans last night and then today when I took the cover off the bench I found a snail sleeping on my bench!!!

just done my snail patrol again, only good news is that there was a frog scouring the beds, still too many snails though grrrrr
