Chickens to be rescued in the Brighton Area
« on: February 17, 2007, 19:21 »
This was posted on an animal welfare website that I participate in.  If anyone can help then that would be great and they get some chucks.
please feel free to cross post;

Do you want to be part of the biggest legal liberation so far this century?

Can you help us save 13,500 chickens from slaughter?

In April 2007 Brighton Animal Action has been given permission to spend 6 days legally liberating 13,500 chickens.

At the end of day 6 the slaughter vans will arrive.

We need homes, boxes, drivers and vehicles.
If you can give a loving home to some of these chickens or if you know someone who owns an animal sanctuary, please get in touch and tell us the minimum you are able to take.

If you can provide any boxes to transport them in or if you own or can drive a large vehicle to take the chickens from the meeting point to a sanctuary please also get in touch.

Please help us help the chickens!

Now I understand ... I had visions of you rescuing the chooks from slaughter merely to mince them up as carp bait!   :shock:
