Found some photos!

I found some photos of our old garden in England (pocket handkerchief sized but I crammed an awful lot into it)

They're not brilliant quality as I had to take a photo of each photo ( ) in order to get them on the computer (scanner isn't working)

this one shows how tiny the garden was, it's from one shed to the one with the bad roof.

This is going up to the garden; it was so small that I had to make the most of every part - even the steps.

And this one was taken looking back at our house, I used put a seat under our arch (which had jasmine and honeysuckle over it)...

It's lush, though. 8)

Thanks :D  It was all just paved over when we moved in so I did all the work myself - I was sooo proud of my little garden.

When we moved, the lady who bought the house said she'd like to have the plants too (but I did take a few cuttings etc) -- and then we found out that she just built a great big ugly conservatory over it

If we'd have known that we'd have taken it all with us :(

My garden is about 18' not counting the side return, you've given me some ideas, how lovely it looks!  I still have the flat roof to put stuff out on but it's a pain to water though.

It was lovely - it was my first 'proper' garden so it was really special.

I grew some plants there to specifically remind me of Ireland - mostly wildflowers -- meadowsweet, ragged robin, my Mum's climbing rose, marsh marigold; loads of stuff - it was nice to see it flowering and think that if would be flowering back home aswell (I'm very sentimental)

It's very frustrating now because I am waiting for all our house repair work to be finished before I seriously make a start on our garden here...and it might take years yet :?

Lush. Very.  8) amazing what can be done with potted plants and little space.

The fact that you could do a picture of a picture is impressive, the fact it's still readable is very impressive indeed. This is q. difficult to get right!
