we have some chicks here that are about 5 weeks old.. any tips on sexing them?

Mine are nearly 14 weeks and I still haven't a clue, the new neck feathers are just starting to come through so I'm hoping that'll help

Sometimes you can tell by the legs...........the males have much thicker legs than the females and more yellow in colour.

I'll defo get one tomorro Kim if you wouldn't mind having a look, first time I've bred them and I'm at a loss     Really want a male but I got this feeling they're all girls

Here's a couple of pictures of my little Orps

I've had another good look at them today, and there just doesn't seem to be any diffrence in any :?

The one in the first photo I thought was a boy at first but now not sure ?
The combs all look the same???
Another thing I did notice one do today and that was cluck at food until the others came running, I know male's do that but so do females with there young :? ?

Think I'm just going to have to wait and see

:shock: My Orpys legs are pink. We convinced ourselves that Biggins was a cock and then 2 females Bertha and Mrs B. BUT BUT BUT we could have just been being sizeist :shock:  :oops:

I have had a good look and it's never easy from pictures but at a guess and it is only a guess.....................I think two girls and a possible boy.

Do any have wattles developing?
