How about a golden hop on one side and a clematis on the other

Everything grows green for a Celt

Mostly organic 'cept weedkiller and slugs

Golden hop (we had one) can be quite invasive.

What about Jasmin? I have it climbing over a fence and its in flower at the moment.

Also nice, but it dies each year, is morning glory. It grows very quickly, is self climbing, a mass of flowers and comes in loads of colours. It can be grown from seed really easily and will grow 20 - 30 foot in a season.
Lynne.

So much to do, but so little time.

Clematis Montana grows huge quickly and sometime gives you two flowerings a year,

Russian vine grows huge quickly and gives you two flowerings a year, VERY INVASIVE

Climbing roses many varieties personally like the white ones, don't buy "kifts gate" unless you have a very big arch/garden it easily grows about 20' or so in length.

kiwi fruit, grape vine even two apple tree's trained over to join at the top, but get a dwarfing rootstock

I have exactly the same in my garden, one is covered with a Honeysuckle and the other a Clematis Montana. The Clematis gives a mass of flowers and when it dies down the Honeysuckle starts to bloom.
