So,  just been to plot.  Was dreading going. But everything has remained in place.  All my netting, my poly tunnel (the blow away type) pots, everything.   On an exposed site that is a miracle.  Too windy to work up there though.

Im going down in an hour. Dreading it too
When weeding, the best way to know if its a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull it.

If it comes out easy, it was a valuable plant !

I lost some roof tiles on the house, won't get to the plot until the weekend though.

I listened to the wind gusting against the window most of the night.  I too dread this afternoons visit .

This is the sight outside our allotments - just sent to me by my better half ???

I wonder if my cardboard mulch is all over the place - I will have to wait until after work to find out.

The wind hasn't stopped here since Sunday!  I am surprised the polytunnel is still up, considering the state of the poly now!

Just Got back from the lotty. Was dreading it but actually wasn't too bad.

Was weeding on my hands and knees and finally putting in my onion sets. It was actually quite pleasant with the sun out. However having said that, as soon as I stood up I almost got blown over again.

I popped up before work today, I've lost a couple of my polycarbonate sheets from my greenhouse, and my shed had been moved about 6".

Time to have a re-think about both constructions!

well our plot has grown by a inch height wise that is.. The wind has blown the peat soil from the fens what they call the ''fen blow '' on the local radio they was saying it was the worse for 50 years and we have a extra inch of soil now .It even got into all the little gaps in the shed so now the inside of our  shed is covered in black dust aswell could just about see the grass on my path ..When we drove down the road past our allotment this morning couldent see the plot for dust predicted rain and less wind for tonight so thats gonna be good news ..
Grow organic as nature intended
