My ducklings are now coming to 4 weeks old and have been spending the days outside.
I have netting over their run due to the threat of crows, how long are crows a threat, my ducks are now almost the same size as a crow!!!!!!

Kate will be able to tell you better as she has wh's and will know their size ( i can only guess) but I normally let my ducks roam free with no protection from 4/5 weeks onwards

They should be fine by 4 weeks although after losing a couple to magpies last year I am hyper cautious. Think I left mine covered till 5-6 weeks but that was probably just paranoia!

Do you think it will be ok to move them outside at night from 5 weeks if I give them a good 4-5 nights without heat leading up to it?

Was thinking of starting to train then to climb the steps to their house this weekend!
