hi all,my onions have germinated and they have just unfurled.is it okay to transfer them into a cold greenhouse even though weve got a cold spell forcast?

Depends, what temperature they are on now. I haven't moved mine, as it's very cold out there all of a sudden here.

there on about 10-14 deg .you reckon i should leave them be?.getting a bit pushed for space , i want to start a few chillies & peppers.

I'm leaving mine. Not sowing anything else yet.

Mind you, I forgot to check what temperature was in gh today, enough to say, some salad leaves were frozen. I fleeced broad bean and like seedlings.

Also, were we to sow there, would not have this problem to discuss.

dont be in a rush to put out into the greenhouse at the moment we have frosts predicted for the next couple of weeks..

put in a window sill to adjust to cooler climate.

Be kind to the little plants 

They can be hardened off when the cold spell is over.

Don't shock them by leaving them somewhere chilly with no chance to adjust
