tomato feed
« on: May 29, 2008, 09:11 »
Hi All....I use "Tomorite" to feed my toms etc in the greenhouse, and I was wondering whether it is ok to make up a bulk supply in a spare water butt (45 gall) I have, simply to save fiddling about making up a gallon or so in a watering can each time.
Does anyone do this?....or would the mix deteriorate quickly? all comments appreciated....cheers

I find a capful is just right for one of my wateringcans, that in turn is just right for my 6 indoor toms, so it's no fuss for me. I don't know, but strongly suspect that it would deteriorate in a big tub.
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".
